Treatment Stages

Stage 1. The implant is placed into the jaw bone under a local anaesthetic

Stage 2. Over a period of about 10 weeks, the surrounding bone grows around the implant to hold it firmly in place

Stage 3. After this period, the implant is checked to see if it has fully integrated with the bone

Stage 4. An impression is taken of the implant in position and is sent to the laboratory for the crown to be constructed

Stages 5. 2 weeks later the crown is gently tapped into the implant to complete the replacement of the missing tooth
